Zygmunt Ajdukiewicz

Zygmunt Ajdukiewicz (born 1861, in Witkowice - 1917, in Vienna) was a Polish painter of historical pictures. He was first cousin of Tadeusz Ajdukiewicz.

Biography

From 1880 to 1882, he studied in the Academies from Vienna and Munich. In 1885, he went living definitively to Vienna, where he became the royal painter. He illustrated Flood, a novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz.
